from my storyboard images i've created our animatic so we have a better idea of shot duration for when it comes to animating. The target is 30 seconds but currently....we got some to chop off without losing the quality of the story. The animatic is currently 41 seconds! Will need to show Dan and discuss as the formative is next week. I think the initial problem is with the first pan out from John...it takes a good 7 seconds and thats not a comfortable pace for the story...will need to brainstorm with Dan. Its clear as well the animation will defiantly need some top sound effects/music to really bring it alive.
so back to some pencil pushing...were almost complete with the pre production stages of the schedule which means the modelling process can begin. Im quite confident with my modelling skills after last terms character creation project, so i feel positive we'll be able to meet the deadlines with this area of the pipeline. Currently we've met all our pre production deadlines, however I'm becoming very aware of wrapping it up and moving on as this stage could start to over run and eat into precious time within other areas.....just a thought!
